Yukon Belle Pyracantha: Providing Year Round Color

If you’re looking for a shrub that will provide interest to your landscape year round then look no further than Yukon Belle Pyracantha! This hardy evergreen shrub, whose Latin name is Pyracantha angustifolia ‘Mono,’ starts off with an abundance of fragrant, showy white flowers in the spring followed by gorgeous, bright orange ornamental berries that last through the winter, providing an excellent food source for birds.

A fairly fast grower, Yukon Belle will quickly reach a height of 8 to 10 ft. tall, and 6 to 8 ft. wide making it perfect for use as a barrier hedge or privacy screen.

This lower maintenance evergreen prefers full sun, and will grow best in average, well-drained soil. Fertilize with Espoma Holly-Tone before new growth begins in the spring.
